Update for Retirees

Update for Retirees

Published on:

If you are waiting to see your pension increased as a result of the current collective agreement covering the period of 2015 to 2023, I afraid your wait is not over.

Please see the attached presentation – it does provide the highlights of the situation.

Once your retro-active pay is all calculated, that information is passed to the Pension Centre. At the Pension Centre, they manually will calculate and update your pension.

The back log is in the vicinity of 31,000 cases to be manually processed.

Target for completing the backlog is April 2022.

They are aware of the problem and they are working on it.

Take care,

Mark
